Dr Steven Dubenec -
Dr Steven Dubenec is a Vascular Surgeon who has clinical appointments at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Bankstown Hospital and Strathfield Private Hospital.
He is involved in both National and New South Wales based committees devoted to improving the level of understanding, diagnosis and treatment of peripheral arterial disease. He is also involved in international clinical trials for peripheral arterial disease.
He is a member of the Australian & New Zealand Society of Vascular Surgeons, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Royal Society of Medicine.

Prof. John Harris -
Professor John Harris is a graduate of the University of Sydney and was appointed Foundation Professor of Vascular Surgery, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, University of Sydney in 1998. He is currently Head, Department of Surgery at the University of Sydney and Chairman, Division of Surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
His clinical interests include non-invasive investigation of peripheral vascular disorders, lower extremity arterial reconstruction, aortic surgery, surgery for stroke prevention, thoracic outlet surgery, endoscopic sympathectomy for hyperhydrosis and endovascular surgery.

Dr Raffi Qasabian -
Dr Raffi Qasabian is a Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon, with clinical appointments at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Bankstown Hospital, Mater Misericordiae and Strathfield private Hospitals.
Dr Qasabian is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Vascular Surgeons, and has been newly appointed to the NSW Regional Committee of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He is a lecturer and co-ordinator of the Surgical Course for 3rd year medical students at the Central Clinical School of the University of Sydney.
Following completion of his surgical studies in Australia, Dr Qasabian undertook a Fellowship year at St Thomas’ Hospital in London, where he gained valuable experience in open and endovascular surgical techniques. Since returning to Sydney, he has established a practice in vascular surgery with a particular interest in:
- Aneurysm disease
- Carotid artery surgery
- Peripheral arterial disease (PAD)
- Diabetic feet
- Varicose vein surgery
- Vascular insufficiency in diabetics
- Minimally invasive vascular interventions:
- Balloon angioplasty and stenting for PAD

Dr Michael Stephen is a Vascular Surgeon of more than 20 years at the Royal Prince Alfred, Mater and Strathfield Private Hospitals.

Dr Peter Vale -
Dr Peter Vale is an Interventional Vascular Physician and Cardiologist who has clinical appointments at Mater Misericordiae Hospital Sydney and St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney.
Dr Vale is a member of the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology and the International Union of Angiology, and is currently involved in both National and New South Wales based committees devoted to improving the level of understanding, diagnosis and treatment of peripheral arterial disease. He is also involved in international clinical trials for peripheral arterial disease and cardiovascular research trials of angiogenesis and stem cell therapy. He has received fellowships from the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions and was a Young Investigator Award winner for the Council of Clinical Cardiology of the American Heart Association.
Dr Vale has returned to Sydney from Boston after completing a distinguished fellowship in interventional cardiovascular medicine. He has also gained world-wide recognition in leading-edge cardiovascular research into angiogenesis (the use of growth factors to stimulate the development of new blood vessels) in cardiac and peripheral arterial disease. He has numerous publications in leading peer-reviewed journals and written multiple book chapters. He is an invited speaker on the subject of peripheral arterial disease.

Prof. Geoffrey White -
Prof. Geoffrey White is the Head of Department of Vascular Surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery, University of sydney. He completed his specialty training at RPA before working in the U.S.A for five years as a Vascular Surgeon, with involvement also in Trauma Surgery and Transplantation.
Since returning to Sydney he has established a strong background in clinical practice and research activity, particularly with respect to development of medical devices and also in clinical aspect of less-invasive treatments for Vascular Disorders. He has published two textbooks on Vascular treatment, as well as authoring more than 75 book chapters and 150 published research papers in medical journals.
